DIRECTIONS

Use only the enclosed dosing cup. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Prolonged usage, and usage in children between the ages of 2 and 12 for longer than 14 consecutive days should only be on the advice of a doctor. Not recommended for children under 2 years of age.

Children 2 - 9 years of age (weight ≤ 30 kg): 5 mL once daily.
Adults, children 10 years of age and older (weight >30 kg): 10 mL once daily.

    Claritin® Kids Syrup is available wherever over-the-counter allergy products are sold, without a prescription. In some provinces, it is only sold over the counter in pharmacies.

    INGREDIENTS

    Active ingredient (in each 5ml teaspoonful)
    5 mg loratadine ( antihistamine )

    Inactive Ingredients:
    In alphabetical order: Artificial grape flavour, edetate disodium, glycerin, maltitol, monobasic sodium phosphate dihydrate, phosphoric acid, propylene glycol, purified water, sodium benzoate, sorbitol, sucralose

    WARNINGS

    Do not use if you are ● pregnant or breastfeeding ● allergic to desloratadine or any ingredient in this drug.
    Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you ● have kidney disease ● have liver disease as you may require a dose adjustment.
    When using this product ● you may have ▪ dry mouth ▪ fatigue ▪ headache ▪ sleepiness ▪ stomach discomfort ▪ nausea.
    Stop use and ask a doctor if ● an allergic reaction occurs.
    Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, call a poison control centre or get medical help right away.
